A gluten-free banana bread without the bread, this smoothie is packed with energy (a lot!), fatty acids and flavour. It’s perfect if you are under physical and/or mental stress (work, exercise, exams, an anxious mom that phones you 100 times a day…). Because of the omega-3 and omega-6 it’s good if your mood dances the swing. If you can, please use organic and fair-trade ingredients to improve the taste, your karma, and your health. The quantity is for 2 smoothies.
Mix in a blender:
500 ml cold unsweetened rice milk
1 ripe banana
3 Tbs walnuts
1 tsp flaxseed
1 tsp panela or muscovado sugar
1 pinch of Atlantic sea salt
1 pinch of cinnamon
1 tsp cold-pressed walnut oil (optional)
